BIOGRAPHY

I graduated from the National Theater School of Canada in 1990. In 1997, I did a first intensive workshop with the Atlantic Theater Company of New York. In 1999, I received a Scholarship in order to strengthen and improve my knowledge of the David Mamet Acting Technic – Practical Aesthetic. I have been taught by renowned teachers such as:

-William H. Macy ( Fargo and Boogie Nights)
-Felicity Huffman ( Desperate Housewives)
-David Mamet ( Master classes) and
-Scott Zigler (director of the American Repertory Theater / Harvard University)

Among my accomplishments are acting in 3 productions with the Theâtre du Rideau Vert in Montréal ( The oldest francophone theater in Canada) 2 plays by Molière and one by Feydeau. I have also completed a 5 years tour of Québec High Schools with a Forum Theater play entitled “ Le H muet” ( Augusto Boal approach) as the main character of Julie. In 1993, I received a scholarship in classical singing .

With passion, I have been coaching actors since 1990 and many of them have been accepted in one of the main theater school of Québec and abroad.

Besides my artistic career, I have completed a communications and leadership training program with an international company. Since 2000 I am also coaching entrepreneurs in my private practice or with a business consulting firm in Montreal.

The actor’s creative process has always been fascinating to me. In the last 16 years, I have developed a personal approach as a performing arts coach as well as an actor and singer: It is this approach that I am committed to sharing with you.
